Brentford people have been critical of the new multi-storey car park near Dock Road.

Now murals are being painted onto the building to make it look easier on the eye.

The nine-storey structure is being covered in paintings by the artist Josephine Hicks.

Local people have been reacting to the new-look car park, which is part of Ballymore's The Brentford Project that will regenerate the high street with new apartments, shops, cafes and restaurants as well as a new Morrisons supermarket.

Sheila Dacey said: "I think it looks quite good, although it's obviously not finished yet. It's better than leaving it all grey and concrete."

Margaret Rodgers, of nearby Brentford Dock, said: "I thought they were going to put some sort of cladding over it. It looks a bit Banksy at the moment."
