Magpie and Crown becomes new collection point for FoodBox

The Magpie and Crown in Brentford High Street is now a collection point for Hounslow's Community FoodBox donations until December 19.
You can either drop your donation off or stop, however if you're stopping for a drink you will be asked to eat something from the pub's well-priced menu.
Opening times are Wednesdays, 5pm, Thurs – Saturday 12-3 and 5.30 -11pm, Sunday 12 – 9pm.
The FoodBox website provides a list of the food and other donations they take.
With Christmas just weeks away, you may want to add a few seasonal treats.
They provide hampers and add new toys as presents for children.
