The Ballymore high street redevelopment has seen another week of work as the site becomes busier with more construction workers and vehicles moving in.

Pipe work and the building of a base that will accommodate a crane is being completed.

Basement sheet piling and foundation work is now complete on one of the blocks and is 90 per cent finished on the other plots.

Ballymore said: "The large increase in the number of vehicles on site each day is due to the commencement of bulk excavation of the basements for plots B and C.

"This will continue for the next few months. September also saw ongoing Thames Water sewer diversion complete - with all services which previously existed on the site now successfully diverted."

The development will deliver 800 new homes alongside 14,000 square metres of retail and 4,000 square metres of commercial space.
