Increase in traffic expected in Brentford and Chiswick as major roadworks to take place over March

A number of repair programmes will take place this month

Roadwork programmes are set to increase local traffic over the next few weeks.

Work to upgrade the traffic lights at Hogarth Roundabout's junctions with the A4 Great West Road and A316 Burlington Lane started on Monday and will go on until March 20.

The work will be carried out between 8am and 5am seven nights a week and will require single lane closures in both directions.

Resurfacing work means road closures in parts of Chiswick High Road between Wellesley Road and Kew Bridge.

From March 21 from 8pm to 5am the following day the A205 will be closed to westbound traffic between Chiswick Roundabout and Kew Bridge junction.

The following day, from 8pm to 5am the A205 will be closed to eastbound traffic between Kew Bridge junction and Chiswick Roundabout.

Kew Bridge, Strand-on-the-Green and Kew Green will be closed each night from March 23 to 27 from 8pm to 5am for roadworks.
