Police in Hounslow have pushed their police van ten kilometres around the Gtech Community Stadium to raise money for a youth charity in Hanworth.

Response Team C from the Feltham Police have raised £790 for Rise and Thrive, a not-for-profit youth organisation who look to help young people stay away from crime by giving them the tools to succeed through mentoring and support.

The group of police officers pushed their three-and-a-half tonne Mercedes Sprinter carried ten kilometres around the perimeter of the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford (30 laps).

It took of the officers one hour, forty-seven minutes and thirty-three seconds to complete the challenge.

Last year the police completed the Three Peaks Challenge by climbing up Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in the space of 24 hours and they raised over £2,000 for the charity.
