Hounslow Police have implored the public to help them in locating known criminals during 'Wanted Week'.

Wanted Week, which began yesterday, gives people in the local community the opportunity to support law enforcement officers as they work to bring offenders to justice.

In a tweet posted yesterday Hounslow Police released an image of Liam Egan, 55, who is wanted for a number of theft offences.

It wrote: "Can you help us find Liam Egan, 55?

"He is #Wanted for various theft offences. Do you know where he is?

"No need to approach, give us a call and we will do the rest."

Call 101, tweet @MetCC or if you wish to remain anonymous, give @CrimestoppersUK a call on 0800 555 111."
