Cllr Shantanu Rajawat, Leader of Hounslow Council said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the four young men hit and injured by a car on Kingsley Road near the junction with Taunton Avenue in the early hours of the morning. The driver failed to stop at the scene, and police are actively investigating. At this stage there is nothing to suggest this is terror related.

"Although incidents of this nature are rare in Hounslow Borough, I know the community will concerned and will be following the investigation closely.

"If anyone has information that can help the police in their investigation please do call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote 921/25Sep22.

"Alternatively, residents can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
