Hounslow Council have launched a new programme to give small businesses support to cope with the ongoing economic difficulties.

The "Innovate and Grow" programme from Hounslow Council was launched on Wednesday 25th January at Brentford's Digital Dock at an event where small businesses were invited to hear about how the programme could help them.

This tailored support programme can give grants between £2000 and £4000, as well as giving one-on-one mentoring from business experts, supports with business skills, a membership plan with offers for a co-working space, and support for micro businesses to set up in an exciting new marketplace in the Treaty Centre, Hounslow.

Speaking at the launch event, Councillor Shantanu Rajawat, Leader of Hounslow Council, said: "Businesses in the borough are facing unprecedented challenges with inflation at a 40 year high, rising costs and energy bills, and consumers tightening their purse strings.

"As a Council, it's vital we equip our businesses with the tools to survive and thrive in the current economic climate.

"Following on from the success of previous rounds, I'm delighted we can deliver a fresh wave of our Innovate and Grow business support programme – focusing particularly on supporting business growth or greening their business.

"I would like to encourage businesses from across Hounslow to apply."

Hounslow Council have partnered with Branduin, CPG Executive Consulting Ltd, Smarter Society and SaveTheHighStreet.org to provide this programme to help small businesses across Hounslow.
