It's fair to say Brentford FC supporters are in love – with their table-topping team after their win against Reading on Wednesday.

The Bees' next game is at home against Barnsley on Sunday which happens to be Valentine's Day.

Games are of course being played behind closed doors due to lockdown but the club is offering fans the chance to get into the spirit of the day by having their Valentine's messages read out in the stadium.

Peter Gilham – the longest-serving matchday announcer in the country – has been doing the usual matchday announcements of teams and goal scorers and he is also reading out Valentine's messages.

If you have a message, send it to [email protected] by 12noon tomorrow, Friday 12 February.

Fans are asked to keep them short so as many can be read out as possible.
