Free children's animal animation event at Bedfont Library
FAMILIES with children of 5 years and over are invited to bring their imagination and try their hand at animation this Saturday.
The free event, advertised through the Brentford Watermans art centre, will offer the chance to try and animate your very own Animal Story.
Artist and illustrator Amber Cooper-Davis will be running the event at Bedfont Library from 11am – 1:30pm, 25 September.
It is inspired by a project called Animal Stories which features a series of new stories extensively researched and written by Alistair Cartwright and with the images and stop motion animations by Cooper-Davies, both of whom were selected by members of the Hounslow Exhibitions Group, which includes local people, artists and library staff.
The exhibition can be accessed online and includes audio and video narrations, as well as the option to animate the artwork yourself.
The event is run by the Creative People and Places (CPP) Hounslow Visual Arts Programme, who often use local library spaces as event venues in the borough.
CPP recently ran the photography exhibit called, 'Brentford: the shape I'm in' which can still be accessed online.
