If you go past the Magpie & Crown this weekend and see beer outside, it's there for the taking.

The pub says it will have a few Guinness, pale ales and cask ales to give away.

Free beers will be left outside the pub, in the high street opposite Market Place, on Saturday lunchtime.

People are asked to pick up the beers and take them home – do not form crowds and drink outside the pub.

During lockdown, online quizzes will be hosted by the pub every Thursday from 8pm.
