Visitors to Hounslow High Street this weekend will be able to enjoy right, bold and colourful art in a bid to let local residents know that hope, imagination and kindness are not cancelled out due to Covid.

The exhibition, Future Visions, will be shown on digital screens on Hounslow High Street and in the Treaty Centre from 29 May for two weeks. T

It will be followed by a touring exhibition across the borough throughout the remainder of 2021.

Future Visions is a unique partnership between the Council and Creative People and Places. The innovative project brings together Hounslow's local artists to send a message that imagination, hope, and kindness are not cancelled, even in difficult times.

Cllr Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Leisure Services at Hounslow Council, said: "We believe everybody has the right to experience and be inspired by art, which research shows has a positive impact on our health and wellbeing.

"This incredible work has been created by local artists on our doorstep. We have a wealth of artistic talent across the borough of Hounslow and look forward to exhibiting it in our public spaces for residents to enjoy.

"Look out for artwork appearing across the borough and share your photos with us using the hashtag #HounslowArt."

The exhibition will also be shown online from 29 May and can be found here
