Brentford Nub News has obtained exclusive access to how Ballymore's massive redevelopment of Brentford High Street is progressing.
The site is now awash with construction workers and vehicles as foundation work is almost complete, paving the way for building to begin imminently.
Basement sheet piling and foundation work is now complete on one of the blocks and is 90 per cent finished on the other plots, Ballymore said.
The company added: "The large increase in the number of vehicles on site each day is due to the commencement of bulk excavation of the basements for plots B and C.
"This will continue for the next few months. September also saw ongoing Thames Water sewer diversion complete - with all services which previously existed on the site now successfully diverted."
The development will deliver 800 new homes alongside 14,000 square metres of retail and 4,000 square metres of commercial space.
It will incorporate 11 buildings and aims to reinstate Brentford's historic connections with the river via pedestrianised lanes and yards.
