HOUNSLOW residents are invited to have their say in a community discussion event about their experience living in the area.

The Go Hounslow! World Cafe Event is offering residents the chance to take part on a collective conversation about communities, and how the borough of Hounslow could be improved.

They invite the community of Hounslow to come together for a conversation, asking "how we can make our area an even better place."

As an incentive to get residents to attend, they are offering a £10 'Love 2 Shop' voucher for the first 100 people who register, participate and attend.

The World Café Event is organised by MutualGain, an organisation that works to empower organisations and communities to "reconnect in the social space, which lies between the state and the individual."

The event is supported by Hounslow Police and is a way of discussing and exchanging views about specific community issues.

There will also be refreshments provided on the day.

The event will be held at the Cranford Community College on Saturday 2 October at 11am – 1pm.

You can register for the event via Eventbrite or follow them on Facebook for future details of the event.
