Many across the borough will have a tree from Christmas that they aren't sure how to dispose of, but the council will be collecting them along with rubbish from next week.

Now that we are on the other side of the festive season, it is is time to dispose of your Christmas tree now that its usefulness is over.

Hounslow Council will be collecting them starting next Monday and as there are still changes to the collection schedule, it is important to check when you should leave your tree out.

As long as it is a real tree and lights and decorations have been removed, then you can leave your tree on the boundary of your property prior to 7am and it can be collected.
