Furniture chain Loaf has submitted plans to Hounslow Council to install new signs and doors to old e-bike store site.

The plans will see four illuminated signs at the front of the furniture store and two new double doors as Loaf soon lands on Chiswick High Road.

Previously the site to e-bike specialist, Fully Charged, the popup store announced in August last year that it would close and move operations to its flagship store in London Bridge.

On its website, Fully Charged then said: "After careful consideration and evaluation of our operations, we have decided to close our popup in Chiswick to refocus our efforts on our flagship store in London Bridge.

"We firmly believe it will allow us to enhance our services and provide you with an even better customer experience going forward."

Loaf's plans show a redesign to the colour of the shop front with its brand name at the centre of the baby blue store.

The company currently has two other stores in west London with a branch in Notting Hill and Battersea.

Formerly known as The Sleep Room, Loaf was created in 2012 and builds its sofa's in Long Eaton, England.

Loaf says it makes "laid-back furniture for people to really kick off their shoes and lead happier, more relaxed lives."
