Brentford Women are aiming to break the attendance record at Bedfont Sports Club during their match against Richmond Park in April.

The Bees, who played their first match at the Gtech Community Stadium against Watford Development earlier this season, are now hoping to set an attendance record at their regular home ground of Bedfont Sports Club.

The present record is 1,010 people, and Brentford will hope to eclipse that when they face Richmond Park on Sunday 2nd April.

Amy Crook, general manager of Brentford Women, said: "Everyone at Brentford Women is extremely excited to be involved in what is set to be another big day for the club's women's team.

"Our first team have played some brilliant football this season and are determined to win the league title so supporters can expect an entertaining game.

"After the match at the Gtech Community Stadium against Watford Ladies Development, we were taken aback by all the support we received.

"We're asking for the fans to come out in numbers once again as we aim to beat last season's attendance record at Bedfont Sports Club."

Tickets for the match against local rivals Richmond will be free of charge for the 2pm kick-off as they hope to encourage fans to support them as Karleigh Osborne's side look to challenge for the L&SEWFL Division One North title.
