By The Editor 26th Aug 2021

This familiar Brentford building has seen numerous changes of use over its long history.

The construction of 68-69 High Street dates back to the 18th century.

It was licensed by 1763 as the Rising Sun pub and was acquired by Fuller Smith & Turner in 1908.

The pub closed in 1959 and for some time the building was used an antique shop and art gallery.

It later became home to Fat Boys Thai restaurant and is now the excellent Ing Thai Restaurant.
