London Ambulance Service wants to open a training centre in Brentford

Brentford could become the base for a new staff training centre for the London Ambulance Service.

The service has submitted a planning application to convert 1171.8 square metres on the first floor and the ground floor of the Brentside Business Park on the Great West Road.

If the centre is given the go-ahead, ambulance staff will use it for training in how to cope with mass casualties after major incidents such as a terror attack in the capital.

The site is easily accessible as it is positioned between the Great West Road and close to Brentford railway station.
