Thanks to the careful incubation of Sara Ward at Hen Corner, a chattering of fluffy chicks hatched on Monday (April 11).

If you missed seeing the fluffy chicks at 'Chick Club' earlier this week, fear not – they have hatched right on time to take up their leading role in the Easter Sunday morning service at St Paul's Church.

Residents can also catch Brentford's newborn fluffballs on Monday, April 18 at the next Easter at Hen Corner.

Join Sara for a morning spent making your own Hot Cross Buns, a hunt around the garden for eggs (real and chocolate), a surprise Easter craft activity and much hen hugging, as well as – you guessed it! – to see chicks hatching.

The service at the Parish of Brentford is on Sunday at 10.30am

Book to spend Easter Monday, 10.30-12.30pm at Hen Corner
