Blaze at car repair shop in Brentford

London Fire Brigade (LFB) has confirmed that part of a vehicle storage unit was damaged by a fire in Brentford on Friday, 23 February.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a vehicle repair workshop on Lionel Road South in Brentford.

 A vehicle was destroyed by fire and around 30 vehicles were damaged by smoke. LFB say there were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received six calls about the fire.

Firefighters were called at 7:31pm and the fire was brought under control by 8:52 the Brigade says.

Crews from Richmond, Heston, Hammersmith and Chiswick fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
