Local residents' group Brentford Voice are holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) next Thursday, with a 'Local Conversation'.

This will be the group's first AGM, since it was not possible to hold one last year due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Watermans art centre will host the event from 7.30pm – 9.30pm, and they hope to complete the AGM business in no more than half an hour, before moving swiftly on to the 'Local Conversation' at around 8 pm.

If you've received BV's Autumn Newsletter titled The Changing Face of Brentford , and if you are concerned about the changes that are happening and coming to the area, and most importantly want to have a say on the future of where you live, then they would very much like to hear your thoughts.

Brentford Voice said: "As much as this is a local conversation it's very much a 'listening' conversation, so do please come along as the future of our community belongs to all of us and we do want to listen to you."

They ask that if you have a specific topic you wish to raise you let they know in advance, to help structure the meeting.

Numbers are limited because of Covid restrictions, so potential participants should email to confirm your attendance, to ensure the event is managed safely. Email: [email protected].

Watermans restaurant and bar will be open for use both before and after the meeting.

BV's previous two AGM papers can be read here and here.

The meeting will take place on Thursday 28 October 2021, from 7.30pm – 9.30pm at Studio 1, Watermans Art Centre, 40 High St, Brentford TW8 0DS.
