Rodeo (15) 12 - 18 May (excl. Mon & Tue). See website for dates and times. Julia (Julie Ledru) lives on a social housing estate with her mother and brother. Relations at home are fraught and Julie's only escape is urban dirt-biking, but coming from an underprivileged household she hasn't the money to own her own. While on a stolen bike she encounters the B-More gang, a group who revels in the world of urban rodeos, a sub-culture of motorbike fanatics whose activities reach far beyond the stunts they revel in.

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry (12A) Until 18 May (excl. Mon & Tue). See website for dates and times. A story of rediscovery and transformation, a man in 60s (Jim Broadbent) living a quiet life with his wife (Penelope Wilton), learns that a friend of his dying. When in he pops out to post his friend a letter, he changes his mind and decides to walk 500 miles to visit her in the hospice where she is staying instead. This is a beautiful and funny adaptation of the bestselling novel by Rachel Joyce.

Polite Society (15)

A merry mash up of sisterly affection, parental disappointment and bold action. Polite Society follows martial artist-in-training Ria Khan who believes she must save her older sister Lena from her impending marriage. After enlisting the help of her friends, Ria intends to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood.

Join French film expert Jon Davies as he discusses and then screens this contemporary French thriller. National Theatre Live: Best of Enemies (15)

David Harewood (Homeland) and Zachary Quinto (Star Trek) play feuding political rivals in James Graham's (Sherwood) multiple award-winning new drama.

In 1968 America, as two men fight to become the next president, all eyes are on the battle between two others: the cunningly conservative William F. Buckley Jr., and the unruly liberal Gore Vidal. Jeremy Herrin (All My Sons) directs this blistering political thriller, filmed live in London's West End.
