Parts of Thames freeze over as cold snap is set to continue

Parts of the Thames were frozen over today as some of the lowest temperatures were recorded last night for 25 years.

Temperatures have barely nudged above zero in recent days.

A section in Isleworth was frozen over and Nub News colleagues in Teddington photographed ice at Teddington Lock.

The cold-snap is set to continue for some days yet, according to forecasters.

Monday looks to be the turning point when temperatures will soar to what feels like a tropical 11 degrees celsius.
