There will be changes to recycling and rubbish collections in Hounslow over the Christmas period.

Residents are encouraged to check the revised schedule to make sure their bins are collected - see image below with the revised collection dates.

Both the Garden Waste and Bulky Waste Collection service will be suspended for two weeks over the holiday period to assist with the additional workload.

The last day of these services will be 24 December 2021 and they will resume, along with normal collection dates, on 10 January 2022.

Space Waye Re-use and Recycling Centre in Feltham will be closed 25, 26, 27 December and 1 January.

Christmas tree collection

Real Christmas trees will be collected between Monday 10 January and Friday 21 January 2022.

Collections will be carried out on the scheduled Garden Waste collection week for your road – this will be on the alternate week but same day as your usual scheduled rubbish collection.

Christmas trees must be placed at the boundary of your property by 7am for collection.

Check image below for tree collection dates.
