Members Event: Habitat and Biodiversity Walk

Chiswick House & Gardens

UNTIL Friday 29th April

Join a biodiversity walk around the gardens

Friday 29 April, 2022, 10:00 to 11.30am

Local naturalist Mick Massie from the London Natural History Society (lnhs.org.uk) will lead this walk around Chiswick House Gardens, and he will be joined by wildlife expert Jo Gilbert from WildChiswick (wildchiswick.com).

Starting at the Obelisk, we will take a slow 90 minute stroll around a few areas in the park to look at how the wildlife in the park fits together.

We will concentrate mainly on plants and invertebrates in the woodland wilderness and lawn areas, hear how they support local vertebrate populations such as hedgehogs and bats, and finish up looking at wildlife in the Kitchen Garden.

Refreshments of tea, coffee and pastries will be served in the Kitchen Garden after the walk.

Meet at the Obelisk by the Burlington Lane Gate
