Karleigh Osborne was annoyed that his team required a late goal to take anything from their 1-1 draw against Sport London E Benfica.

Chloe Logie was the late saviour for Brentford Women as she found the back of the net after 85 minutes to level the scoring after Kimberley Castro had given the home side the lead.

Despite snatching a late point, Osborne said he was frustrated that the Bees hadn't taken their earlier chances to come away from Gladstone Park as winners.

Speaking to club media, he said: "It feels a bit like two points dropped to be honest.

"First half I think our performance was disjointed, we lacked fluency in our football, didn't take care of the basics well enough, and probably lacked a little bit of energy.

"That was a frustration because we probably gave them a little bit too much respect in the early parts of the game and allowed them to build into the game.

"Second half was much better, I thought we controlled the game from start to finish in the second half.

"We created plenty of opportunities, we just didn't take them when we needed to, I think there was one that should have stood but it was disallowed for whatever reason.

"But in saying that we had more than enough chances to put the game to bed. I was really pleased with the character in the second half and the way that we kept going and eventually got the goal after a few chances that we should have taken."

Osborne was pleased, however, with the performances of two B Team players who stepped into the first team at short notice in Calli Weaver and Madeline Heavingham Ford.

He said: "I thought the subs did really well, they came on and made a difference. We had two B Team players come up today and I thought they were magnificent.

"I thought Calli [Weaver] has come on today, she was called up at the last minute, she only found out about an hour before kick-off that she was coming with us today.

"She came on and added something going forward, I thought she played with real quality and confidence and I was over the moon for here.

"Maddie [Heavingham Ford] comes on at centre half when she is usually a left-back and was magnificent.

"She won all her battles, was brave and then she had the composure as well to find a pass when she came out of a tackle.

"It just goes to show the work that the B Team staff have been doing and the B Team as a whole are really looking to push and get into this first team, that is two more who are making the step up."
