Karleigh Osborne said that he just looks to let Demi Edwards be who she is to get the most out of her as her hat-trick secured a 4-0 win against Leatherhead.

The Bees bounced back from last week's defeat as Kirsty Matthews scored and Edwards bagged a hat-trick as they moved back to the top of L&SEWFL Division One North.

Osborne said that he has been trying to get Edwards to channel her natural fire to inspire her positive performances on the pitch.

Speaking to club media, he said: "Demi [Edwards] was unbelievable today, she is a real talent.

"Good player, good person, she has a fire about her which I love, I try hard to control it sometimes, but I love it and it makes her what she is.

"She has been fantastic for us and I want her to keep going from strength to strength.

"[The best thing to do] is to let her be that way, just try and keep her focused on different bits, but to be honest it is a wonderful thing to see.

"She is committed, she wants to work, she wants to do well, and I can't ask for more from her.

"Great desire [from Kirsty Matthews for the first goal], great work rate, she was fantastic today, she was phenomenal.

"I spoke to her the other day about playing with freedom and getting back to playing with a smile on her face and she did that today. She was immense, super proud of her."

Osborne also said that after getting back to winning ways, it was important for Brentford to concentrate on themselves as they look to chase down the title.

He said: "Ultimately, we have taken a step back by not performing well last week and losing the game.

"I wanted a reaction and that is what we got today, there were a few changes in the squad and they came in and did really well, which was brilliant, and the girls who did play last week came here and put their performances right.

"But today we have come here and we have got the win, and that is what we need to keep doing, we need to focus on us and make sure that we are trying to do the right things all the time.

"All we can do is take it game by game and try and get the results we need to get and the other teams will do whatever they need to do.

"But the focus is on us and we know what we want to try and do, and that is still what we want to achieve."
