Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

FRIDAY.Live music at the Magpie and Crown One of Brentford's much-loved establishments hosts another live music night of Friday. The Magpie and Crown pub on the High Street will have live music, this time featuring Steve Rehman and Persona performing for all. If karaoke is more your thing then you can head down on Saturday for a belter night of Scotteoke, from 8pm until midnight. More details here.

SATURDAY. Hounslow Winter Lights Festival

Let the festivities begin! As the Winter Lights Festival takes place this weekend for a lantern parade.

Artists from Same Sky and local Hounslow based artists worked with a range of groups to create beautiful lanterns that are used in a vibrant parade to celebrate Hounslow's festive lights switch-on.

The procession will end at Bell Square where there will be a free performance.

The parade starts at 6:30pm – meet at Thakers, 162 A/B High Street Hounslow, TW3 1BQ.

SUNDAY. Organist performance at the Musical Museum Award-winning theatre organist Simon will be performing at the Musical Museum in Brentford this Sunday. A former winner of Young Theatre Organist of the Year and the American Theatre Organ Society ATOS Organist of the Year, he was inducted into the ATOS Hall of Fame in 2016. See Simon perform from 3pm to 5:30pm this Sunday at the Musical Museum. Tickets £15. Click here to book your space.

ALL WEEKEND. Christmas lights at Kew Gardens.

Check out the first weekend of the magical winter trail that lights up the evening skies in Kew Gardens for 2021.

Their annual after-dark festivities include sparkling tunnels of light, dancing waterside reflections, and trees drenched in jewel-like colour on your way to the panoramic Palm House light display.

Entry from 4pm – 10pm and Entrances at Victoria Gate, Brentford Gate and Lion Gate.
