A 'yellow' weather warning has been issued for Brentford as ice is expected over the weekend.

The Met Office says temperatures could plunge to -1C overnight.

Forecasters warn this could bring icy patches on the roads and cause pavements to be slippery.

The general weather outlook for the area is cloudy, with wind and heavy rain at times.

Saturday will see persistent showers while Sunday should bring brighter spells.

But temperatures will remain no higher than 6C during the day.
