UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 in England: Full tournament guide

Brentford is set to welcome the stars of UEFA Women's EURO 2022 as Germany and Denmark prepare for their first fixture at Brentford Community Stadium tomorrow.

Four games will be played at our local stadium throughout July before the Final at Wembley Stadium on July 31.

Where is Women's EURO 2022 being held?

As well as Brentford and Wembley, there are venues in Brighton & Hove, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Rotherham, Sheffield, Southampton, Trafford, Wigan & Leigh.

Women's EURO 2022: Facts & Figures

·      It is the second time England have staged the competition, with the first in 2005, when Germany triumphed.

·      The Netherlands won the last tournament, in 2017, on home turf

·      Germany/West Germany has the most titles, having won 8 times 

·      England has made the finals twice but is yet to steal the title

·      The biggest margin of victory ever seen was in 2017 at a group stage match: England 6-0 Scotland
