Two men armed with hammers rob victims in Hounslow park on Sunday morning

A police appeal has been launched into a robbery in Lampton Park on Sunday (October 30).

Police were called at 8:09am to investigate reports of two men in the park with hammers demanding money.

Officers attended and arrested two men on suspicion of robbery. They were conveyed to a nearby police station.

No injuries were believed to have been sustained and enquiries are ongoing.

Hounslow Police tweeted: "Officers from #Hounslow are asking for the public's help for information in regards to a Robbery that occurred in #LamptonPark this morning."

"Anyone with any information, asked to call 101 quoting reference 2303/30OCT. To remain anonymous contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
