Two men from Hounslow and a man from Stanwell have been sentenced for a burglary in which they stolen thousands of pounds in cash.

Nick Graham, 34, of Green Lane in Hounslow and James Knight, 38, of Chinchilla Drive in Hounslow, pleaded guilty with Stanley resident Michael Bennett, 54, to the burglary committed more than two years ago.

On 24 June 2020, the trio forced entry into a home in Bracknell and woke its sleeping occupant, a man in his fifties.

Graham, Knight and Bennett threatened the man several times before making off with a limited edition golf bag that contained £15,000 in cash.

At Reading Crown Court on November 15, Michael Bennett was sentenced to two years in prison.

Hounslow residents Graham and Knight were each sentenced to two years and three months in prison.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Kelly Turner, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: "Although the defendants were charged with aggravated burglary I am satisfied with three guilty pleas for burglary.

"Due to the length of time this case has taken to get to trial their guilty pleas have saved the victim the stress of having to give evidence at trial.

"This investigation has required a lot of perseverance and I am happy that this has paid off with the sentencing of these three men."
