A 'severe' weather warning has been issued for Brentford this weekend.

The Met Office is forecasting heavy winds and rain, especially on Saturday and has issued a 'yellow' warning.

It means people should be aware of risks of flooding and hazardous driving conditions.

It comes as Storm Alex, named by the French meteorological service, moves over the Channel from France.

Sunday's forecast is for cloud with more wind and occasional showers which may be heavy at times.

Brighter spells and less wind is expected by Monday, although Brentford could see scattered showers and it will be cooler than of late.
