THE vaccination status of COVID patients cannot be revealed because it is 'personal medical information,' an NHS trust has said.

Overall COVID patient numbers are low, with West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth treating just five COVID-positive patients but is unable to check their vaccine status at short notice.

"The evidence across the country is unequivocal – one dose of vaccine significantly reduces the likelihood of contracting COVID, spreading COVID, being admitted to hospital, or more severe outcomes," said a spokesperson.

"Two doses offer significantly stronger protection.

"It is essential everyone gets both doses.

"A variety of clinics and centres are offering the vaccines across London and specifically in Hounslow and Richmond.

"This can be by appointment, some offer walk-ins, there will also be pop-up and one-off events.

"We urge everyone resident in our catchment area to get both doses as soon as they can to protect themselves and their loved ones and reduce further transmission."
