A man in his 40s is in critical condition in hospital after being hit by a bus in Hounslow last night. 

At 8:55pm on Tuesday 3rd January, a man in his 40s was hit by a bus on the London Road in Hounslow and was soon rushed to a Central London hospital and is presently fighting for his life. 

Police and the ambulance were soon called to the scene, but have not as yet made any arrests in relation to the incident and the enquiry is ongoing. 

Twitter user @UB1UB2 said that a passerby quickly responded and performed CPR on the man and helped to keep him alive before the ambulances arrived.
