Man arrested in Isleworth for shoplifting offences

A man was arrested by local police yesterday (Tuesday, August 23) after failing to appear at court for shoplifting offences.

His arrest came during a routine foot patrol of Thornbury Park conducted by the Isleworth and Heston East police teams in which three men were searched for drugs.

One of the men was wanted for failing to appear at court for three shoplifting offences and possession of an offensive (weapon).

The Hounslow Central & Town Centre police team said: "Following foot patrols of Thornbury Park yesterday with @MPSHestonEast and @MPSIsleworth we conducted searches on 3 males for drugs with 1 of them wanted for failing to appear at court for possession of an offensive and 3 shoplifting offences and was arrested!"
