In April, the basement of plot B - that will accommodate flats, restaurants and shops - was completed and ground floor slab work is well underway.

Plot C has seen a continuation to the construction of the basement which has included foundation works, pouring of the reinforced concrete basement slab as the first walls and columns are now visible.

Workhouse Dock has also seen progress with temporary sheet piling now completed which will enable works to start on the dock.

The block that can be seen from Augustus Close leading to Brentford Dock will see construction completed up to the seventh and eighth floor.

Work has also started in the grounds of St Lawrence's Church.

When completed, the redevelopment will provide around 800 new homes alongside 14,000 sq m of retail and 4,000 sq m of commercial space.

An extended Thames Path will also be put place and the project will include 11 buildings and reinstate Brentford's historic connections to the water via a series of lanes and yards.

The flats currently being constructed are due to be ready for people to move into by winter next year.
