Hounslow residents have identified the members of the household caught in a blaze that killed five members of the family as Aroen and Seema Kishen.
Locals in Channel Close, where five people died in a house fire on Sunday 12 November, have told of hearing horrific screams from the family.
The Met Police believe the five bodies found at the home are from the same family, including three children.
It has confirmed that another person remains unaccounted for, whilst a man left the property before fire crews arrived and was taken to hospital.
Police and LFB are still investigating the cause of the fire with neighbours suspecting it could've been from a firework or candle as it was the Hindu festival of light, Diwali, that day.
Inder Kondal, a resident who lives opposite the property caught in the blaze, says his young daughters watched on as the house was engulfed in flames within a minute and a half.
Mr Kondal, 48, also echoed his neighbours in highlighting the amount of fireworks which were going off at the same time as the blaze.
He said: "What we saw was pretty crazy. We heard someone say, 'Get my son out'. We could hear people screaming and stuff.
"It was horrific. The fireworks going on were crazy. My 12-year-old daughter was in the garden and saw the flames.
"It's so sad. Within a minute the fire had gone all the way through."
Mr Kondal added that he had heard a rumour that a stray firework had set fire to a bin outside the home.
Mr Kondal's neighbour, Ram Saldhu, said he also recognised the family shown to him in the photo, having seen them on Channel Close previously when walking past.
The father-of-four, aged 63, said: "I have lived here for 35 years and have never seen anything like this before.
"There were lots of fireworks going off last night. I saw the flashing lights about ten o'clock, and I could see the smoke coming out [of the house]. It's very bad news."
He added: "An alleyway goes in front of their [the Kishen family's] house, and we saw them sometimes, but didn't know them personally.
"I saw their children going out to play in the summer sometimes."
Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson, who is responsible for policing in the area, said officers were not ruling anything out of their investigations into the cause.
He said: "We are here to talk about the very tragic that happened last night (Sunday 12 November).
"Despite the life-saving efforts of all those attending, I am very sorry to inform you all that five people have lost their lives in this fire.
"Sadly, at least three of those were children. I know that people across the country will be shocked and saddened by these events last night.
"We will be working tirelessly with our colleagues to provide answers. At this time we have an open mind as to the cause of the fire."
Councillor Shantanu Rajawat, Leader of Hounslow Council, has expressed his condolences on behalf of Hounslow Council to the family involved in the tragic incident.
He said: "On behalf of the Council I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of those who lost their lives in the tragic fire at Channel Close, Heston, last night.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected during this difficult time. We are working together with our colleagues from the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police to support the recovery effort."
