Hounslow Highways have been working hard to attempt to keep footways clear across the borough following the snowfall and icy conditions from the weekend.

Following the MET Office issuing a yellow weather warning across London and the snow which followed have created dangerous conditions outside.

Hounslow Highways have been working hard across the weekend into today to make sure that pavements are safe.

This has meant specific gritting efforts, focusing outside hospitals, schools, and other priority areas to stop people from slipping on the icy surface.

Workers are continuing to monitor streets to make sure that as much of the network in Hounslow is gritted as possible to make residents feel safe to go outside.
