Hounslow Council are hosting a jobs fair for the transport and logistics industry in Cranford on 26th January.

The Transport and Logistics Fair will be held at Meadowbank Adult Education & Community Learning Centre in Cranford on 26th January to give an idea of the jobs out there for residents looking for a career change.

The employers in attendance will include Lampton Community Services, the Heathrow Academy, Abellio Group, Manpower and K-10 Apprenticeships, with all jobs being advertised offering at or above the London Living Wage.

Councillor Lily Bath, Cabinet Member for Children, Learning & Employment at Hounslow Council, said: "This event is a great opportunity for people across the borough to find a new position in the logistics and transport sectors where you can make an important contribution to the economy of the borough and beyond.

"There are a great range of employers lined up to offer opportunities on the day, all of which will pay the London Living Wage or more.

"If you are looking for employment or a change of career, this is a great opportunity so please register to attend."

The event is being run by Work Hounslow and will take place between 11am and 1:30pm.

All of the local employers in attendance will have live vacancies they are looking to fill and they will be offering speed interviews on the day.

All those wishing to attend are advised to register in advance for their preferred time slot, either the early 11-12:15 or the later 12:15-1:30.

You can find the event page here.
