Chiswick cheese market is cancelled this weekend

Chiswick cheese market will not go ahead this Sunday due to hot weather in London.

The Met Office has an Amber Weather Warning for much of England with extreme heat developing across the UK from Sunday.

In Chiswick, a high of 31 degrees is predicted on Sunday, increasing to 37 degrees on Monday.

Organisers of Chiswick cheese market said in a statement on social media: "Sadly we've made the difficult decision to cancel our market on Sunday due to intensely high temperatures that are predicted hot weather + cheese is no good so we will see you all in August."
