The pedalos have returned to Gunnersbury Park in time for Spring.

Gunnersbury Park Museum said they are: "Delighted to announce that boating is back on our Round Pond.

"No need to book, just turn up and enjoy!"

Michelle Farebrother who runs the pedalos, told Nub News: "We're really happy about being able to open again given the horrible year we've all had.

"We do expect to be busy, with people being cautious about booking holidays they seem to be looking for activities and days out with family and friends.

"We're looking forward to seeing our regulars and also looking forward to seeing lots of new faces.

"What we really look forward to is being there for people to have fun and make memories just as we did as children.

"This will be our third year operating the boats at Gunnersbury.

"The boats were absent for many years prior to us opening in 2019, I believe they last operated in the mid to late 90s.

"The boats were certainly present in 70s and 80s when myself and my husband Darren were children."

Boating in Gunnersbury Park resumed in 2019 after £4.7 million from Lottery funding was invested into the renovation of the Park.

The boating Lake was also restored as part of the Gunnersbury 2026 renovation project.
