Free parking across the borough on Christmas Eve

Hounslow Council has announced free parking across the borough for Christmas Eve.

Cllr Hanif Khan, Cabinet Member for Cabinet Member for Transport and One Hounslow said: "There will be no charge for parking in bays controlled by the London Borough of Hounslow where Pay & Display and/or PaybyPhone is accepted, all day on Christmas Eve.

"In addition, I have asked for the suspension of the parking spaces outside the police station in Chiswick to be lifted over the Christmas period."

Other parking enforcement will take place over the festive period and information which explains Bank Holiday enforcement is available on the council's website at Parking on the street | Parking on the street | London Borough.

Bank Holiday enforcement will take place on 25, 26 and 28 of December and 1st January 2021.

Normal enforcement will take place on other days and enforcement by CCTV cameras monitoring bus lanes, yellow box junctions etc will continue across the festive period.
