Flooding at Space Waye re-use and recycling centre has forced the Hounslow waste depot to close to trade customers, residents using a van/trailer or residents disposing chargeable waste.

Hounslow Council wrote on Twitter: "Due to the heavy rains/flooding Space Waye Re-use and Recycling Centre will be closed all day to trade customers, residents using a van/trailer or disposing of chargeable waste.

"We're only open to residents in cars (who've made a booking) disposing of household waste."
