Planned works on South Western Railway will mean travel in Hounslow is going to be greatly impacted across the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Ahead of the four-day Easter weekend, Network Rail have announced what engineering works will be going on and impacting travel across the four days.

Travel on Saturday 8th April and Easter Sunday, 9th April, will be impacted in Hounslow as there is going to be maintenance between Whitton and Virgina Water.

On Saturday there will be rail replacement buses going between Hounslow and Virginia Water and Hounslow and Windsor & Eton Riverside.

The lines between Hounslow and Virginia Water, Hounslow and Windsor & Eton Riverside, and Hounslow and Weybridge will have a rail replacement bus service on the Sunday as the engineering work goes on.

There is also going to be engineering work going on between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, meaning there will be an amended service heading in to and out of central London, with trains not stopping at Vauxhall and Earlsfield and buses going between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon.

To get to Vauxhall you will have to use London Buses to and from the station as no South Western Railway trains will be going there.
