The developers of Brentford FC's old ground Griffin Park are inviting local people and supporters to comment on proposals for the redevelopment of the site which includes new homes and public park.

EcoWorld London have sent out leaflets to thousands of households outlining their proposals ahead of a new planning application.

The application is for:

  • 149 new homes and "affordable" housing
  • A new 1.770 square metre park open to the public
  • Landscaped paths connecting the site to the surrounding area
  • 65 car parking spaces and more than 279 cycle storage spaces
  • Low carbon heating systems, solar panels and electronic car charging
  • Extensive planting and biodiversity throughout the site

A series of online meetings will take place at the following times: Tuesday March 16, 6.30pm, Thursday March 18 at 6.30pm (for Brentford FC fans) and Tuesday 23 March at 2pm.

The deadline for feedback is March 31.

For more information and to comment, go to www.GriffinParkDevelopment.co.uk.

However, when Nub News tried to get onto the site on Friday, a message appeared saying it was still in development.
