A protest for the "right to work for a decent job" will be coming through Brentford on Tuesday.

The West London Job Convoy will depart from Southall at 10am and then proceed to Heathrow via Ealing, Chiswick and Brentford.

The organisers are Ealing Trades Union Council, West London Unite Community and Hillingdon Trades Union Council who say the UK is one of the richest countries in the world and it should be possible to save jobs and extend the furlough scheme.

Protesters will assemble at 10am in the car park of Norwood Hall, Norwood Green Road, Southall.

The protest will then make its way in vehicles to the Uxbridge Road and stay on this road for 3.3 miles through Hanwell, West Ealing and Ealing until reaching the junction with the North Circular.

It will then turn down Gunnersbury Avenue toward Chiswick Roundabout and then take the A315 towards Brentford and Hounslow.

The demonstration will conclude near Heathrow airport at Bedfont and Feltham Football Club.
