A team of community volunteers from Clean Up Hounslow were out on the streets of Hounslow West on Saturday litter picking as part of the Great British Spring Clean and people are being invited to join further sessions.

The team collected nine sacks of litter in little over an hour and reported other instances of fly tipping and street scene defects to Hounslow Highways using the https://fms.hounslowhighways.org/ webpage.

This was the first of three community litter picks Clean Up Hounslow have organised for the Great British Spring Clean.

On Sunday, 6th June, the group is meeting at 10am outside Holy Trinity Church, 6 High St, Hounslow to litter pick around central Hounslow, anyone interested in joining can register on Eventbrite www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/156384334755
