Next month sees a summer extravaganza of food, theatre and entertainment in Syon Park.

The Alfresco Theatre will stop off in west London on its nation-wide tour offering a mix of big-screen movies, live theatre, music acts and comedy gigs.

Mark Watson, Nish Kumar, Dara O'Briain, Ed Byrne and more will be performing.

Superstar chefs Tom Kerridge, Rick Stein, Atul Kochhar, Paul Ainsworth and Jason Atherton are also all joining forces to create an exclusive menu of one-off dishes for the festival.

The Beatles' journey through the swinging 60s will be chronicled in a one-off show complete with authentic period costumes and instruments.

For children, The Gruffalo will be live on stage as Mouse embarks on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories' magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Movie buffs will be able to dine and watch films including Dirty Dancing, Grease, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

The Alfresco Theatre said: "Initially kicking off as a drive-in experience, The Alfresco Theatre is an event designed for the times.

"As soon as lock down rules relax, so will ours - and we'll all be partying together in the sun in no time!

"Either way, you'll be getting your own patch to enjoy the show from (check you out, VIP) and we'll be putting your safety at the heart of everything we do. "

The Syon Park events take place between 9 and 13 June.
